Hey! Welcome to the about page! We're glad you're here.
My name is Meg Rubadou. I'm a retired pageant queen, backyard chicken enthusiast, cat momma, and a very ambitious spirit. I recently graduated from Boston University's Wheelock College with my MS in Child Life and Family Centered Care. I love working with kiddos, all things Child Life, and I have a passion for improving the lives of others.
I am both a dreamer and a doer and my heart is for the thousands of women across the country and around the world who are living their lives to seek growth and pursue everyday success.
When I entered into the season of my life approaching my official retirement from competing within the Miss America Organization (1.0), I threw myself into pouring the skills I've learned throughout my journey into other women's lives so that they can use the tools I've compiled for their own success in pageants and other goals they may chase.
It turns out, everything I've taken away from pageants is priceless in the real world. I created There She Is Co. as a hub for women to find community, support, growth resources, and more.
About There She Is Co.
There She Is Co. is a media production company that exists to prepare women for life with life tools derived from pageantry. These tools are shared through creative media, product endorsements from trusted brands, inspirational podcasts, and blogs all under the There She Is umbrella. The goal is to create community that encourages constant growth among its members while we all reach toward success both on and off the pageant stage.
I started this company because I believe that everyone can benefit from pageantry when the values it teaches are blended with a personal growth mindset that everyone can embrace. It's more than just a lifestyle blog. It's lifestyle meets personal development with a crown on top.
